Your EveryStep password is used for multiple logins such as; Computer, Citrix, Email/Teams, and FortiClient. Once you change it, all of those systems will use the new password. This will NOT impact your Netsmart password.
Employees/contractors with EveryStep Laptops:
- Connect to EveryStep's network:
- Be in an EveryStep office (this is recommended method)
- If you're working remotely, connect to FortiClient.
- Save all of your work and close out of all open programs.
- If Teams
is open, quit Teams.
- Right click the Teams icon in the system tray (bottom right corner by the time) click Quit.
- Right click the Teams icon in the system tray (bottom right corner by the time) click Quit.
- Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete at the same time on your keyboard.
- Click Change a password.
- Enter your old password.
- Enter and confirm your new password and click → or enter.
- If your password was successfully change click "OK".
- Once your password has been changed keep your computer on and connected to the network for 30 minutes to allow it to sync with our system.
- After 30 minutes restart your computer and sign in with your new password - if you're working remotely verify you can Connect to FortiClient / Remote Access.

Employees or Volunteers without EveryStep Laptops:
- Sign into the Office 365 Portal using your EveryStep email address and password.
- Go to Settings
> Password. - Type your old password, and then type a new password and confirm it.
- Click Submit.
- If you are signed into Citrix: Sign out of Citrix then back in with your new password.
